Springfield hosted the last league games of the season for Jersey Bulls men's and women's teams... and Jersey won the U16 Muratti.
It was a thrilling weekend for Jersey football.
On Saturday, Jersey Bulls men secured a third place finish in Isthmian League South East with a 3-0 win over Hastings United in front of a packed home crowd.
Victory on the final day of the season - and results elsewhere - earned the Bulls a play-off semi final against AFC Whyteleafe at Springfield on Tuesday (28 April).
There were goals for Lorne Bickely, Miguel Carvalho and Toby Ritzema.
The Bulls - who are unbeaten this season - are chasing their second consecutive promotion, after moving into the eighth tier of English football via the play-off last season.
AFC Croydon Athletic and Sittingbourne will contest the other semi-final. The final will take place on Friday (1 May).
The action at Springfield continued on Sunday, with Jersey Bulls women celebrating being confirmed league champions by going on to put 12 past visitors Milford & Witley.
League officials confirmed their promotion status ahead of kick-off.
They take the title in their inaugural campaign, and following a 'disappointing' league reset in February which saw the unbeaten side's tally returned to zero.
440 supporters cheered on their champions and watched them lift the trophy
To cap of a spectacular weekend for local football fans, Jersey won the Under 16 Muratti at Guernsey's Victoria Park, in a 5-0 thrashing.
It follows a 6-2 victory for Jersey U18s in the annual inter-islands fixture last weekend.
The men's Muratti is 16 May at Springfield, and the women's fixture is on 23 May.
