Four police officers have transferred to Jersey from the UK.
They have a combined experience of 86 years in the force.
PC John Shatford is the longest-serving of the four new recruits, with 30 years in policing. He joins from Thames Valley.
PCs Stephen and Kate Young arrive with 20 years under their belts, while PC Aleya Gavin comes to Jersey after 16 years with West Midlands Police.
They join three local officers sworn in earlier this month. Another two will join the force in a couple of weeks time.
A police spokesperson says they won’t be recruiting any more officers for the foreseeable future.
