Election 2026: The hustings

The hustings are a chance to find out what election candidates stand for ask them questions to help you decide who to vote for.

There are numerous opportunities to hear from the people standing in Jersey's forthcoming general election.

Polling day is 7 June, and 92 candidates are vying for the 49 seats in the States Assembly.

Who's standing?

Voters island-wide will choose up to nine senators from a list of 17, as well as electing deputies for their district and a parish constable.

The husting get underway on Tuesday 5 May and continue most evenings at various locations until 3 June.

The first are taking place in St Mary and Trinity with the candidates for Constable.

The senatorial election hustings begin in St Lawrence on Thursday 7 May.
