Honorary Police have reported 12 drivers in a single morning ignoring a road closed sign on Bagatelle Road in St Saviour.
They face a fine of up to £200 at a Parish Hall Enquiry.
The dozen motorists were caught during Monday morning's rush hour (16 February).
Roadworks mean there is currently no access onto Bon Air Lane and Wellington Road.
Honoraries say the carriageway is blocked, and cars ignoring the sign are then having to turn around into oncoming traffic,
"The junction is closed for safety and not merely to inconvenience your journey."
Officers say their patrols will continue this week to stop and report drivers ignoring the temporary road layout.
"Please obey the Highway Code and avoid getting a fine."
