Weekly direct flights from Jersey to the ski slopes this winter

Grenoble, France

Jersey skiers can fly directly to the French Alps again this winter, as Blue Islands announces a regular service to Grenoble.

The airline will operate the flights every Saturday from 21 December 2024 until 15 February 2025.

Rob Veron, CEO of Blue Islands, says they have been providing ad-hoc charter flights from Jersey and Guernsey to the slopes since 2018.

"Whether it’s Christmas, New Year, February half-term, or prime skiing in January or early February, we’re excited to increase to a nine-week season of direct flights to Grenoble this winter, and offer a flight-only option."

Flights will set islanders back around £300, including luggage.

The airline has partnered with Allez Ski to put on the weekly flights, as well as offer inclusive packages with accommodation and transfers from the airport.

Grenoble has been described as the 'gateway' to the French Alps with Val d’Isere, Tignes, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Courchevel, Méribel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Avoriaz and Morzine nearby.

The closest resorts are Chamrousse, Les 7 Laux and Alpe d’Huez.
