Planning approval has been granted for improvements to Coronation Park Playing Fields, which will be completed ready for summer.
Coronation Park will be extended into Milbrook playing fields.
Plans include the installation of the island's first pump track for bikes, with benches, sand dunes, planting, and improved access for pedestrians and vehicles.

The larger area to the west of the playing fields will stay as open space for ball games.
An amphitheatre will also feature along the boundary.
The plans were submitted in January, and now that they have approval, they will be completed by summer.
The land has been donated by an anonymous benefactor, with the north-eastern part of the field being given to St Matthew's Glass Church.
