The States of Jersey Complaints Panel says 2025 was a 'busy year', with more than double the number of grievances.
42 new cases were submitted for review last year, up from 19 in 2024. That is an almost six-old increase.
The panel was contacted 142 times, compared to 24 times in 2024.
There were two full complaints hearings, and in both cases the grievances were upheld.

The establishment of an ombudsman office has been talked about for decades, and in November 2024 the Assembly formally asked that ministers bring forward proposals for approval during 2025.
A recent review called the existing unpaid complaints body 'toothless', underlined by one government department refusing to attend hearings in 2025.
Mr Crill said participating is 'a fundamental part of demonstrating Government’s accountability.'
