Bowler Malcolm De Sousa and heptathlete Lucy Woodward will lead Team Jersey, as the Commonwealth Games begin in Glasgow.
De Sousa will bring the Jersey flag into the Hydro Arena, with Woodward one of the 74 baton bearers.
Jersey's baton has been specially crafted and features Jersey cows, Jersey lillies and coastal scenery.
De Sousa, who will be competing in his fifth consecutive Commonwealth Games, said:
"I'm really honoured to be carrying the flag.
"It's an incredible honour to represent the team and everyone who's supported me along the way. It's a special moment, and I'm really looking forward to it."
He'll compete for the first time at this year's games on Tuesday 28 July in the men's pairs at the SEC.
That's the same day that Woodward is due to begin her two-day, seven-event campaign at Scotstoun Stadium.
She said:
"Being chosen to carry the baton is an honour.
"It's my first Games, and I'm making history as Jersey's first heptathlete - carrying the baton will be the cherry on top, and I'm very grateful."
The opening ceremony is due to start at 8pm.
Before that, bowler Taylor Greechan will open Jersey's account in the men's singles against Mark McGreal from the Isle of Man.
