Jersey Police have released CCTV footage of a person they want to identify in connection with an alleged attempted break in at a café in St Aubin's Bay.
They were caught on camera using a hammer to try to get into the Lookout along the seafront in the early hours of Tuesday morning ( 9 January).
The images were captured between 02:44 and 03:15am.
The suspect - believed to be a man - was dressed in a dark coloured hoodie and trousers, with a slightly different colour on front sections of the trousers.
They were also wearing adidas trainers.

Police say the images appear to show light coloured clothing because the cameras display opposite colours when filming at night.
The person is seen carrying a backpack and a hammer.
Nothing was taken, but some damage was done to the building.
"Anyone who may have seen this person or who has any information is asked to contact police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org."
