Infrastructure Minister Deputy Kevin Lewis says its to take account of inflation and rates costs.
"A price increase is never welcome but it is important that our car parks are well maintained and that there are ample funds for sustainable transport and road safety initiatives. Jersey parking charges still remain some of the least expensive in the British Isles."
Season ticket prices are also going up by 3.7% to £137.30 for a standard permit.
