A weekend of celebrations is being held to mark 50 years of St Lawrence Youth Club!
It all started at Coin Varin in St Peter in the mid-1970s, before moving to a purpose-built community centre in St Lawrence in 1996.
The landmark will be celebrated on Saturday 6 June and Sunday 7 June with all past members, staff and volunteers invited to share their memories.
The weekend will include a big display called '50 Years of Club', featuring hundreds of old photos and newspaper clippings.

There will also be a Memories Wall where past members and helpers living overseas will have their memories of their time at the club up on the wall.
Peta Clayton, Chair, St Lawrence Youth Project Committee, said:
"I joined when I was 12, and I must have enjoyed it, because I've stuck around for a long time!
"I joined the members committee and the committee that I now chair in 1990, and then I started helping run the club, and then I've just been helping and volunteering ever since, the whole 43 years!

"I met my husband at Coin Varin, and both of my teenage sons have both recently finished going through the three levels of club, and they've loved it."
