Police are investigating an attempted break-in at the Old Station Café on Victoria Avenue.
It happened some time between 9:30pm on Sunday (13 March) and 9:30am the following morning.
A rock was thrown through one of the café's windows causing 'substantial' damage.
The would-be burglar attempted to open the window, but it was locked and they did not get into the premises.
Officers are looking to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
