Another 60 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Jersey in the last 24 hours.

It brings active case numbers up to 378.

Ten with the virus are in hospital, up from eight yesterday. The extra two were already in hospital receiving treatment for other reasons.

3027 direct contacts have been traced.

Chief Minister Senator John Le Fondre warned yesterday, when announcing new measures to combat the sharp increase in coronavirus cases, that case figures will continue to increase 'in the days and weeks ahead'.
