Jersey pensioners will get a 4.7% increase in the Old Age Pension from the start of October.
Someone receiving a full-rate pension will get just over £14 more a week, to a new figure of £312.48.
Annually, that comes to an increase of £734, and will bring the full pension to £16,294 a year.
The Jersey Old Age Pension is updated every October by at least the recorded increase in the pensioner RPI for June.
Social Security Minister, Senator Elaine Millar, said:
"Our pensioners have contributed to Jersey throughout their working lives and it is important that the Old Age Pension continues to provide a strong foundation for old age.
"This year's increase will put more than £14 a week (or over £700 per year) into the pocket of someone receiving a full pension. We also recognise that pensioners on lower incomes can face particular pressure from healthcare and heating costs, which is why additional support is available through Pension Plus, the Health Access Scheme and the Cold Weather Bonus.
"I would encourage anyone who thinks they may be eligible for this extra help to check what support is available to them."
Lower-income pensioners may also be eligible for Pension Plus, which helps with the cost of dental, optical, and chiropody care.
Pensioner households who don't pay tax can also receive the Cold Weather Bonus to help with winter heating costs.
Other support for low-income pensioners includes a one-off payment at Christmas and free TV licences for pensioners aged 75 and over.
