Art enthusiasts have been reacting to being able to see a Lowry painting right here in Guernsey.
Laurence Stephen Lowry was an English artist in the 20th century, best known for match-stick men, vibrant football matches and empty seascapes.
His work has been on display in the Tate art gallery in Paris, but is currently on display in St Peter Port.
The Art for Guernsey Gallery in the Old Quarter is using its purpose-built Julius Baer Strong Room to host Lowry's World - Threads of Life.
The reaction to the match-stick themed town depiction called Jackson's Auction and Sale Room, currently on show, is being described as 'thrilling' and 'absolutely amazing'.
The Gallery is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
