Two greenhouses have been destroyed by fire in St Sampsons.
Many islanders may have seen black smoke coming from the area at around 6pm on Tuesday (1 June)
Emergency services attended along Les Plichons Lane, closing the road while the flames were put out.
The road was reopened at around 9:20pm.
