Guernsey has just had its second warmest spring on record.
The average temperature for the season was 1.3 degrees above the 30 year average, at 11.3 Celsius.
It was just a shade short of the warmest ever Guernsey spring in 1893 when it reached 11.4C. Records go right back to 1843.
The warmest spring day of 2025 came on 1 May, when it reached 23.0 C.
It was drier than usual for the time of year too, with around half the usual amount of rain. A total of 89.7mm was recorded across the three months compared to the 166.3mm average.
The wettest day of the season was 4 March, when 19.4mm of rain was measured.
Guernsey Met data shows 2025 was also the Bailiwick's fifth sunniest spring since sunshine records began in 1894.
708.7 hours of sunshine were recorded. That is 134 hours - almost five and half full days - more than is typical across March, April and May.
