Maya Le Tissier makes Lionesses Squad

Le Tissier's first club was St Martin's AC.

Maya le Tissier will be competing in Switzerland this summer as part of England's 2025 Euro squad.

Sarina Weigman has selected her 23-player squad for the defence of their Women's Euros title.

Among them is Guernsey's Maya Le Tissier.

The Manchester United captain was first called up to the Lionesses in 2022 for a friendly against Norway, but missed out on selection for the 2023 World Cup.

Writing on social media, Maya described it as 'a dream come true'.

Maya has been previously been named Brighton Women's Young Player of the Year, and won the Channel Islands Sports Personality of the Year in 2023
