IslandFM caught up with GO's General Manager after the shop's big move across St Sampson's harbour.
The charity, Giving Opportunities, moved from the former Quayside site to its new premises, by the Weighbridge clock tower, earlier this month.
General Manager Chris Murphy says the modern shop front is meant to give customers and staff a better retail experience.
He says despite some big visual changes their goals remain the same:
"Our ethos is recycle and reuse.
All these items, if they weren't donated from the general public to GO, then they would have found their way into the landfill or shipped off the island as rubbish.
And we don't want to live in a throwaway society.
So every little bit we do we feel is a positive contribution to the island."
He wants islanders to 'watch this space' as they plan to expand - adding another shop front, an outdoor sales area, and auctions.
"We are always looking to improve.
This is the first time when we've had an environment where we are not looking to move for the foreseeable - so we plan to put some roots down."
