The cycling event is an important fundraiser for Les Bourgs Hospice.
Despite an uncharacteristically damp start to Sunday (31 May) hundreds of riders lined up to take on the annual cycling challenge.
It is the culmination of the 30 rides in 30 days fundraiser and those participants were on the start line in their bright jerseys.
The round-island route began at the top of Val des Terres to avoid the gruelling climb early on.
It carried on through St Martins and the Forest to the West Coast, finishing back at North Beach.
The ride raises money for Les Bourgs, to help meet the £2.8m annual cost of running the hospice, which equates to around £8,000 a day.
The 30 rides initiative has generated more than £1.1M for Les Bourgs since it began in 2008.
