Two men in their forties have received a combined sentence of 34 and a half years for supplying drugs and money laundering.
In April 2025, Customs Officers executed a search warrant at a St Andrews vinery leased by 47-year-old Richard Le Cras.
Inside, they found a silver briefcase containing 252.86 grams of the class A drug, MDMA.
They discovered scales, a heat-sealing machine and latex gloves.
49-year-old Matthew Lovell also used the premises.
Both men were arrested.
When their properties were searched, officers found large sums of cash and a substantial quantity of cannabis and ketamine.
DNA linked both Lovell and Le Cras to the controlled drugs.
Investigators identified around £460,000 in criminal funds, and enough evidence for money laundering convictions for Lovell.
Both men pleaded guilty.
The Royal Court sentenced Lovell to 20 years and six months in prison, while Le Cras was given 13 years and seven months.

"Cases such as this demonstrate the Bailiwick's commitment not only to removing harmful drugs from our community, but also to identifying, disrupting, and prosecuting those who seek to profit from criminal activity.
"Financial investigation is a vital tool in tackling serious and organised crime, ensuring that offenders do not benefit from their offending.
"Following this week's sentencing, confiscation proceedings will now ensue to determine the full benefit derived from the offending and to identify any assets that may be available for recovery.
"This is an important part of the process, reinforcing the principle that crime should not pay."
