Islanders can once again enjoy the tranquil Millennium Walk.
In January, following Storm Goretti, Guernsey Water was forced to close the path around the St Saviour's Reservoir.
Gusts of 84mph had caused enormous trees to fall, and broken branches to dangle overhead.
Teams of tree surgeons began clearing the site in mid-March.
They were expected to finish in five weeks, but have completed the work around a month early.
Some of the tree trunks have been cut into circles and laid along the path.
Guernsey Water's Tania Sargent says they are delighted to reopen the Millennium Walk.
"Storm Goretti caused widespread damage and meant the route had to remain closed for safety reasons.
"We know how disappointing that is for everyone, because the walk is well used and much loved.
"Given the damage across the island, we had to wait our turn for the tree surgeons to be free.
"They have worked incredibly hard to clear the debris and make the walk safe again.
"We know how much people value this wonderful walk, and reopening it in time for the Bank Holiday weekend, and ahead of schedule, is fantastic news.”
Guernsey Water warns that some damage to fencing remains and asks walkers to take care.
