JPRestaurants, which runs Banjo, Oyster Box and Crab Shack, is changing hands.
Guernsey-based investors, CI Hospitality Limited is taking over JPRestaurants, which owns island favourites such as Oyster Box and Crab Shack.
The investment is said to support the long-term future of the much-loved local brands.
CI Hospitality Ltd bought Randalls Guernsey's 20 pubs and restaurants, and brewery last year.
JPRestraunts says that the new investment will see 'fresh capital invested across the group, with a focus on maintaining the character and heritage of each venue.'
Robert Jones, Managing Director at JPRestaurants, says he will remain the only other shareholder:
"The investment will help us adapt to Jersey’s dynamic restaurant scene and ensure we continue creating the experiences that our customers value most.
“We’ve built a loyal customer base over many decades, and there is a great deal that will remain unchanged, from our friendly, knowledgeable teams to our iconic locations."
JPRestaurants says it will continue to operate as normal throughout the transition, with customers assured that service standards and day-to-day operations remain unchanged.
