Full Line-up For Guernsey Air Display

Guernsey will have all eyes on the skies when the the new aircraft and formations take-off for September’s air display.

New aircraft and firm-favourites will soar through Guernsey's skies from 10.45am on Thursday 8 September.

The annual Battle of Britain Air Display commemorates the lives of RAF crew and aims to inspire the next generation to join - with colourful, aerobatics displays of control and discipline.

This year's line-up will see the return of the RAF Chinook, The Blades, the Muscle Biplane and, of course, the Red Arrows.

Team Raven are also returning, but with a new look formation of six aircraft and with three new pilots.

People in Guernsey will also be able to see several new aircrafts this year, including the Navy Wings Seafire and Wasp and the Bronco OV-10B.

Flying Display Director Barry Neal says he hope Guernsey will get to enjoy this year's line-up without interruption:

“We will endeavour to keep the public updated with any changes to the official timings for the display, however, these are subject to change due to weather and serviceability.

Please also be reminded that any drone activity within the Bailiwick or boats sailing into the display zone will result in flying being suspended and could result in the display being cancelled.”

Russell Clark from the Guernsey Air Display Foundation said this year's line-up will be able to put on a fantastic show:

‘“We are very grateful to all the teams who are taking part. The Display is a firm-favourite in the Bailiwick and we are sure they will all put on a wonderful show for everyone to enjoy.”
