Apple has confirmed it’s aware of an issue preventing iPhone users in the Channel Islands from verifying their age.
The latest iPhone update, iOS 26.4, requires a credit card or national ID to confirm the user is 18-plus.
This is now a requirement under UK law.
However, Channel Island driving licences are not being accepted.
This is blocking access to some security settings, although 18-plus websites and applications, such as gambling, can still be accessed.
Apple has told us: "We’re aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible."
