An elderly driver has died after her car struck a wall in St Peter Port on Friday (4 February)
The accident, which involved just one vehicle, took place in the Route de Coutanchez.
The 87 year old was the sole occupant a silver Hyundai travelling from the direction of Pitronnerie Road when the car struck the wall of a property on the corner of the road.
The driver was taken to hospital but died there the following day.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Guernsey Police has expressed its condolences to the woman’s family and friends.
