Islanders are invited to explore the future of Fort Regent, with updated regeneration plans shaped by years of community engagement.

Attend a public presentation at the Pomme d’Or Hotel on Tuesday 14 April at 5:30pm (register via Eventbrite), or drop into the exhibition at St Helier Town Hall on Thursday 16 April (9am–7pm) or Friday 17 April (9am–3pm).

The plans reflect strong public support, with almost 90% of Islanders backing the proposals in a 2025 survey of more than 6,000 people, alongside input from young people and specialist user groups.

Come and see how your feedback has helped shape a future Fort Regent that is community-driven, financially sustainable, and respectful of its historic character.

Shaped by Islanders

The updated plans reflect extensive public engagement carried out over several years, including:

A 2021 independent survey involving more than 2,500 Islanders

A 2025 independent survey engaging over 6,000 Islanders, alongside presentations to 2,000 students across all secondary schools

Dedicated workshops with young people and specialist user groups

Ongoing discussions with heritage advisers, technical experts and the Planning Department

Feedback from these stages has directly informed the evolution of the proposals. Islanders are now invited to view the updated plans and see how the community feedback has shaped the proposed regeneration of Fort Regent.
