Charity Open Garden at Domaine de Vaux, St Lawrence in aid of JAYF

Explore the extensive garden and woodland in a peaceful rural setting around a traditional farmhouse. This secret valley contains native and specimen trees, including many Magnolia, Camellia and Azelea. The meandering paths lead down the valley through Japanese Maple to Dawn Redwoods, Swamp Cyprus and ponds fringed with Gunnera and Arum lilies. The main garden is full of expertly chosen plants providing a stunning display of colour and scent throughout the seasons. The grounds include a Mediterranean area with a productive Potager growing vegetables and herbs surrounding a beautiful glasshouse. Enjoy a cream tea on the house terrace by a beautiful fountain and white flowered Wisteria. The Plant Stall is a favourite with our regular visitors.
