Route 10 from LibertyBus
This route is now open from Monday to Friday (except public holidays) starting at Jersey Zoo in the north and travelling through St John, St Mary, and St Peter. It continues to Jersey Airport, then Red Houses, before concluding at the Enid Quenault Health Centre.
Having demonstrated potential for growth during a one-month trial period, the Route 10 timetable will be enhanced from July 21st onwards, with times moving to a two-hourly frequency and running later into the evening and on weekends.
Route 10 is the newest route from LibertyBus, a cross-island service between Jersey Zoo, the Airport and Enid Quenault Health Centre. Along the way, the service will weave its way through the peaceful, leafy northern suburbs of Trinity, St John’s, and St Mary’s, before beginning its descent down into the vibrant south-west parishes of St Peter’s and St Brelade. Fear not if it’s the rugged St Ouen’s coast you are after, as you now have access to connecting bus stops such as Red Houses West for the scenic Route 22 or St Peter’s Village bus stop for connections to the picturesque Greve de Lecq Bay.
The new service enables northern parishioners to benefit from a direct link to the airport, eliminating the need to travel to St Helier first and board a second bus, thereby improving affordability and efficiency. The same can be said for accessing the numerous amenities in the Red Houses area, such as Les Quennevais Sports Centre, the shopping precinct, Waitrose and Enid Quenault Health Centre, with the lively St Brelade’s Bay only a short 10-minute walk away.
The enhanced Route 10 timetable will be available online from Monday 21st July with Route 10 leaflet timetables also available on the same day at Liberation Station.
