Ports of Jersey has appointed a new Group CEO. Matt Thomas will take up the role in July.
He replaces Doug Bannister, who stepped down in December to become head of the Port of Dover.
Mr Thomas currently leads the Shannon Group in Ireland, where his task includes developing the airport and Aviation Services Centre.
He has also worked for the Vantage Airport Group at Vancouver, Larnaca and Liverpool airports, and with Macquarie Airports in Newcastle and Copenhagen.
His appointment has been overseen by the Jersey Appointment Commission.
Alan Merry will continue as acting CEO until Mr Thomas joins the organisation.
