Passengers will be able to use a new shelter being put up at Cobo, away from the winds and high tide.
The shelter will be put up this week, on the landward side of the road, north of the car park for Les Residences apartments.
Traffic and Highways says this is a more sheltered location, away from the slipway which is exposed to winds and high tides.
Cobo was chosen because the stop is popular with passengers.
The pavement on both sides of the road will be lowered to enable those with wheelchairs and pushchairs to get across more easily.
