Ten Guernsey Dairy products have received global recognition in the 2024 Great Taste Awards.
The Guild of Fine Food annually rates food and drink produced by small businesses, awarding 1 to 3 stars.
The results are displayed on packaging, as a stamp of approval.
This year there were 13,672 entries from 3,500 companies across 115 countries.
Guernsey Dairy has received three 2-star ratings for its Full Cream Milk, Skimmed Milk, and Mild Cheese.
Seven other products were awarded 1-star ratings - the Low-Fat Milk, Organic Milk, Lactose Free Milk, Whipping Cream, Salted Butter, Unsalted Butter and Mature Cheese.
The Diary last entered the competition in 2021, and received five awards.
The Dairy's Managing Director Andrew Tabel says Guernsey should be proud.
“This recognition received from The Great Taste Awards is great news for the Dairy and the island.
This demonstrates our ability to produce products that can compete against the world’s best producers.
The achievement also recognizes the hard work and dedication of our staff who work incredibly hard to ensure our customers get to enjoy some of the best dairy products in the world.
This, against the backdrop and complexities of operating a food production facility that has reached the end of its useful service life."
The Dairy is heading towards a £200,000 loss this year. Ageing facilities and equipment, subsidies to farmers and economic costs are blamed.
