A body has been discovered near Regency Vinery in St Martin's, according to Guernsey Police.
Officers say the person was found near the site on Steam Mill Lane on Friday 25 November.
In a statement issued on Saturday evening, Bailiwick Law Enforcement says the person's identity is unknown and their cause of death is currently 'unexplained'.
Guernsey Police are looking to hear from anyone who was in the area over the last six weeks and may have seen someone 'potentially sleeping rough'.
