Zsuzsanna Besenyei Murder Trial Begins

The trial of a man accused of murdering Zsuzsanna Besenyei has begun at Jersey's Royal Court.

Twelve jurors have been sworn in, and 55-year-old Jamie Lee Warn has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

He was charged with murder and two counts of perverting the course of justice after Zsuzsanna's body washed up at La Pulec Bay in St Ouen.

Her body was discovered on 16th May, six days after she went missing and two days after her car was found by police on the beach near Le Haule slipway.

An initial post-mortem examination was unable to determine a cause of death.

Mr Warn denies the charges.

The trial is expected to last around two weeks.
