Stand Up to Cancer Ext-raffle-ganza with Cancer Research Jersey

The Jersey branch of Cancer Research is joining in with a national initiative to fund and develop new cancer treatments.

“Stand Up to Cancer” aims to accelerate the progress of medical investigation and exploration by raising additional funds for Cancer Research. Alongside ongoing fundraising at the Halkett Place shop, Cancer Research Jersey is hoping to raise an additional £1,700 over the next eight weeks.

With support and donations from local businesses, Cancer Research Jersey has launched an Autumn Ext-raffle-ganza.  Over twenty prizes are on offer, including afternoon teas, designer cushions, a luxury car valet, beauty products, toys and £100 of petrol vouchers.

Additionally, a supporter has donated their private collection of over 200 Beanie Babies, sourced from around the world, which are on display in-store and available to buy from £3 each.

Tickets for the Ext-raffle-ganza are available from Cancer Research at 56 Halkett Place and Bonita Hair & Beauty Salon at the Hotel de France.

Cancer Research Jersey is the local fundraising branch of Cancer Research UK. Money raised through Jersey goes to the Southampton Cancer Research Centre.
