At Normans we are proud to be supporting Mind Jersey as our chosen charity this year. Mind Jersey is an independent local charity supporting people with mental illness.
Our Walking Club meet once a month to enjoy a leisurely stroll around the country lanes & paths of our lovely island. In 2022 some of us decided to take on a bigger challenge and attempt a 30 mile sponsored walk in aid of Dementia Jersey. Given the unqualified success of last year’s fundraiser, on the 28th May Sarah & Steve will once again be taking to the roads to raise money for Mind Jersey.
Based on the Easter “World Aid Walk” of the 1970s, we will be walking around the 12 Parish Churches, a distance of about 30 miles. Starting at Normans Five Oaks branch we will head to St. Saviour’s Parish Church, then head around the island in an anti-clockwise direction, with the finish line at Normans Commercial Buildings.
