The warmer weather does mean islanders need to think about staying safe.
Sharon Merren from Jersey Met says it’s not too early to reach for the sun cream.
“People should be taking precautions with sunscreen because the UV is going to be quite strong, up to 6 UV which is a very quick burn time on bare skin.”
“We’re expecting 18°C tomorrow which is warmer than average. We’re expecting the temperatures to go higher still over the rest of the working week. There could be some fog patches over the channel that will keep the coasts cooler.”
