Students In The Spotlight

7th December 2017
It’s showtime for girls from Beaulieu School, who are taking to the stage at the Jersey Opera House tonight.
They’ll be staging a special production, based on the classic film ‘Singin’ in the Rain’.
There are four performances taking place, at 2:30pm and 7:30pm tonight and tomorrow.

Channel 103 popped down to one of their rehearsals to speak to some of the girls involved in the production.
It’s the first time the girls will be performing at the Opera House, with two casts performing in each day’s matinée and evening shows, as Grace Marett and Megan Reynolds explained:

Emma Preisig and Tyler Rive told us what it’s like working together on such a big production:
There’s also a live band accompanying the performance, as Isobel Lawson told us:
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £7 for students and can be booked through the Jersey Opera House Box Office on 511115.
