More than 150 people are taking on an extreme endurance challenge this weekend.
The Jersey Round Island Challenge sees people from around the world competing to circuit the island’s 48 mile coastline by swimming, running, rowing, kayaking or paddle-boarding.
The water sections of the course had been due to take place today, but we’ve been told those have now been postponed until tomorrow, due to bad weather.
The event is raising money for the Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation, which helps families needing UK hospital treatment.

Challenge co-founder Simon O’Donoghue is hopeful of some record-breaking performances:
“We have individual winners for each discipline. There are all previous records and what we do is bring in all of the clubs to see how they get on.
We’ve got 11 kayakers, six double skis, six single skis, we’ve got some teams of rowers, we’ve got 10 individual runners and a number of other relays teams too. It’s an exciting event which’ll really bring people together.”
