Masterpieces On Display In The Island

22nd November 2017
Several original masterpieces by the likes of Picasso and Monet are on display in the island.
Law firm Ogier has partnered with London-based art experts Gladwell & Patterson to hold an exhibition at its offices on the Esplanade.

The public had the opportunity to see them this morning, and again tomorrow between 8:30 and 11am.
Organiser Simon Dinning hopes to offer an experience we don’t normally get in the island:
“It is incredibly rare to see works by Picasso and Monet here in Jersey and, while it is unusual for a law firm to turn itself in an art gallery for a few days, the response from the public showed us that they really valued the opportunity to see these works.
“Hopefully, we will have a similar response later this month – the new exhibition focuses on some less well-known impressionists as well as the big names, and we look forward to welcoming many more people to our offices to come and have a look.”
The exhibition is open to the public and free, but for security reasons Ogier is asking those wishing to attend to confirm their attendance. You can find out how to do that on their website.
