Large Tree Snaps On Rouge Bouillon

13th October 2015

A large tree has come down on top of cars on Rouge Bouillon.

Part of the 50 foot tall Canadian Oak broke off and crashed into Gloster Terrace shortly after 8.30 this morning.

Police and TTS are there, and drivers were being asked to avoid the roundabout until the area can be safe.

A woman who lives next door told Channel 103 it was ‘an unbelievable sight.’

‘It was very fortunate it has come into the terrace, rather than on to the road, because at the time it happened the pavements were streaming with people.’
