Stroll in Jersey War Walk

Wednesday 23rd May 2018

Start point: St Brelade’s bay Church from 3pm – 6.30pm. Finish point Strongpoint Corbiere Bunker.

Join your guide Alan on a beautiful cliff walk on the west of the island, taking in historical defences, ending with exclusive access and a guided tour to a W.W 2 Bunker. Fees £16 per adult. U16’s 36. HM Forces Veterans £6 (£6 covers bunker tour given by Channel Islands Occupation Society) Pay at Start point.

Please wear appropriate clothing and walking boots, Bring binoculars and cameras for stunning views.

Stroll In Jersey “Agriculture” Walk

A circular walk taking in refreshments at HolmeGrown.

Fees: £10 per adult.U16’s Free but must be accompanied by an adult. H.M. Forces Veterans Free. Also please bring funds for your refreshments at Holmegrown cafe. Walking boots & clothing recommended. Nordic sticks recommended.

Jersey Zoo’s biggest Bioblitz

Spend the day with wildlife experts and help them do a count of the wild animals and plants that call the zoo their home. There will be lots of wild activities for the whole family to enjoy. Free for members and normal admissions apply for non-members. 8.30am – 9pm.

Jersey Soapbox Challenge

Sunday 27th May 2018

At 9am – 5pm from Mount Bingham.

The organisers are looking for teams and individuals to take part in this first Soapbox downhill Challenge. Entry is £25 per driver and prizes are available based on Performance, clothing and vehicle theme.

As well as races, there will be food and drink stalls on site. All proceeds will be going to Jersey Hospice Care.

RACE FOR LIFE

Jersey women are invited to sign up to Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life.

Take part in a 5k or 10k event at Les Jardins de la Mer on Sunday 27th at 11am to help raise funds for the Research Centre based at Southampton Hospital where many patients from Jersey are treated.

FOJO Festival of Music part 4

Holiday For heroes Big Ride Out

Leaving st Catherines Breakwater at 11am precisely. Traveling through Gordy and along the coast road to Mount Bingham pausing briefly at La Collette trading estate before continuing along the avenue to St Aubin. Up the hill to Red houses and around corbiere loop before finally heading down to La Pulente and along the five mile road to The Watersplash.

Open to all motorbikes, trikes, mopeds and scooters for a minimum £5 donation with all proceeds going to Holiday for heroes Jersey.
