Injured Owl Returned To Wild

28th August 2018

A barn owl has been nurtured back to health after being found under a car in Jersey.

He was taken to the Animals’ Shelter by a member of the public earlier this month.

He needed 24 hours of assisted feeding and pain relief by JSPCA staff.

The owl then stayed with the charity for another week to make sure he had enough energy to survive in the wild.

The Jersey Barn Owl Conservation Network released him at the weekend near to where he was found.
