Greatest Turnout For Jersey Film Festival
The Jersey Film Festival had its biggest turnout in 24 years.
Around 7,000 people went along to Howard Davis Park for last night’s screening of The Greatest Showman.
Organiser, Deputy Kevin Lewis, says it was a great night:
“I think this is the largest turnout we’ve ever had. Everyone was very good natured and it was a terrific event. People were turning up from about 5:30pm to have a picnic, and it was a terrific atmosphere.”
Retiring collections were made by the NSPCC, but it’s not yet known how much money the record-breaking night raised for the charity.
