Clipper Back In Dry Dock

22nd October 2015

Condor’s conventional ferry the Clipper will be back in dry dock next month, and out of service for another six weeks.

The firm is chartering the freight ship MV Arrow while its ship is having more maintenance work done.

Both the Clipper and the Goodwill need pollution-reducing scrubbers fitted to meet EU rules.

It was supposed to be done last month but Condor says there was a problem with suppliers.

Te Clipper is booked from 4th November to 14th December.

Dates for the Goodwill are still to be confirmed.

Condor says it is contacting all customers who were booked to travel on the Clipper in November and early December to offer them a refund or alternative travel options.

The Liberation is going to be doing extra sailings while the Clipper is out of action, with a double run on Wednesdays.
